Edit Text is now available to all Canvas users. Open any image, click Edit Text in the toolbar, and Canvas automatically detects all the text in the image. From there, you can update any of it directly in a side panel and hit apply — no source file, no design tools, no round-trips.
This works on ads, product images, social posts, packaging — any image with text on it. Under the hood, we switched to AWS Rekognition for text detection, which means Canvas now catches up to 100 words per image and handles complex layouts much more accurately than before. Give it a try today!
