UI Fixes & Improvements
We’ve been listening closely to your feedback on UI2 and rolled out another big wave of improvements across the interface and asset modal.
- Video comments now appear exactly where they should (no more missing or mistimed threads)
- Downloading or jumping back to a workspace from an asset is smoother and more predictable
You’ll also notice small but meaningful design touches throughout:
- Square thumbnails are back by popular demand
- Clearer board thumbnails
- Better readability of file names
- The return of inline editing for board titles and descriptions
- Sidebar navigation is more reliable with full sub-board visibility
We also tackled several quality-of-life fixes:
- Drag and drop is fully functional again (including in Firefox)
- Timestamps now reset properly between videos
- Those pesky long-word truncation issues have been cleaned up
Altogether, this release brings more stability, polish, and confidence to how you move through Air every day.

Expanded File & Video Support
We’re continuing to push the limits of what Air can process — and how fast it can do it.
- Air’s video engine just got a major performance upgrade. You can now upload and analyze videos up to 10GBin size,4 hoursin length, and8Kin resolution — a huge leap forward for creative teams working with high-quality footage.
- Photographers get some love too: we’ve added native support for the latest devices like the Google Pixel 10,Hasselblad X2D II 100C, andSony RX1-III (DSC-RX1M3).
- We’ve also introduced support for .RIV animation files, unlocking richer motion and playback options inside Air.
In short: bigger files, broader device coverage, and faster processing. All without breaking your flow.
You can now use Air inside Figma Slides, making it easy to build decks with approved, on-brand assets and save them right back to Air.
Drop visuals straight from your library onto any slide, keep everything synced, and present without ever leaving Figma.
No downloads. No uploads. Just organized and on-brand presentations, without the back-and-forth.

A Fresh New Look: Air’s Redesigned UI

Air Flow Updates
Air Flow continues to get smarter and more stable behind the scenes. Our latest releases target sync reliability — particularly those rare but frustrating “File not found” errors some users encountered during uploads or updates.
We’ve also fixed how the auto-resolve duplicates setting behaves, refined how app versions are compared (resolving a long-standing version mismatch bug), and improved how selective sync operates on both Mac and Windows. You can now exclude “orphaned” assets — files not assigned to any board — from sync altogether, helping keep your local storage cleaner and your Air Flow workspace lighter.
We’ve also refreshed the app’s visuals with the new Air logo and adjusted icon sizing and item handling to feel more consistent across OS versions.
Together, these updates make Air Flow faster, more predictable, and ready for even heavier workloads.
We’ve made a couple of small but meaningful improvements to help you stay organized and move faster in Air.
- Rename boards directly from the sidebar. No more extra clicks—rename your boards right from the sidebar. Keep things tidy and up to date without breaking your flow.
- Independent collapse states for Favorites & Workspace boards.Favorites and Workspace boards now expand and collapse independently. This gives you more control and makes navigation clearer when you’re switching between sections.
